In 2025, Mike is releasing new music as a saxophonist, and for the first time, under the name Mike Flanagan. His first single of 2025 is a trio version of the classic tune “Give Me The Simple Life”, which features Gray Sargent (Illinois Jacket, Tony Bennett) on guitar, with Marshall Wood on bass.

Later this year, he will be releasing a new album entitled “Many Rivers” alongside vocalist, Lauren Scales and pianist, Chris Grasso. The album features 9 songs from the collective with Luques Curtis (bass), Charles Haynes and Richie Barshay (drums) in the rhythm section, and a Steve Davis (trombone) feature.
